welcome 2014

After holidays and a few computer and internet free days I have finally started with a new quilt. Actually this one I wanted to make last summer, but never found the time. All bits are cut out and I have started piecing. More in next post.

On New Years Day we made a short trip to Mar Menor in the Murcia region, visited San Pedro del Pinatar and Lo Pagan. The weather was sunny and we had a wonderful piece of cake and coffee on a café terrace.

Wonderful photos and just what I needed to see. The weather here is cold and damp. Okay, it’s freezing cold. I had to bring the little Silky chicken in to sleep in a box inside. Can’t wait to see the next project shaping up. And thanks for the ‘likes’ on my post! Nice to see you visit!

Thanks for your comment, hope the worst cold is gone and warmer temperatures have arrived to you. Wish I could write so nice as you, so I rather stick to photos.

Thanks, you are always so busy making something – I do take some time off. I really liked the photos of your village and I think you have chosen the right place to live! B.

Oh I love the blue and orange of your sunset photos. Quilt inspiration if ever I saw it.

The colours of your quilt scraps are lovely summer colour combinations and I am trying to guess what your quilt will look like.

Thanks for your comment. The pink fabric is not for my quilt – I did some cutting for a friend. But all the others are mine!
