We have had some stormy and rainy weather over the last few days. But today is full of sun, clear blue skies and no wind. The other day I have also seen the first almond trees in blossom (but no camera with me). Just a moment ago I had a nice cup of coffee in the garden. From my chair I could see all the busy bees working on the bright yellow flowers of aeonium arboreum. So I got out my camera and took some photos :
And the pretty white flowers of eriocephalus africanus. This hardy shrub is originally from South Africa, but grows also well the Mediterranean climate.
Sewing is high on my list for the weekend, so maybe my next post will be with photo with a pieced patchwork top.
Thanks for stopping, have a nice weekend, Barbora
Beautiful flowers. I can’t wait for the spring here Ireland.

Beautiful. I made a crow pillow this weekend. Appliqué. The crows were supposed to be for a quilt block but they didn’t get used, so I absconded with them and VOILA! a new pillow. And I feel super duper productive!

Great, why not post a picture of your crow pillow? Done some work on my quilt, but we had sooooo nice weather over the weekend that I decided to sunbath instead!

Wow! I love that yellow. Pretty sure there’s a quilt in there somewhere. 🙂

Hi Barbora! Just amazing yellow colour! Mine this same plant doesn’t have flowers yet. Isn’t it fantastic to enjoy the sunshine in January! Here it’s getting now colder but I was already worried how soon the hot summer begins so I don’t mind having some colder weather. x Teje

The sun keeps me away from quilting, but I am happy that it shines! Cold weather is nothing for me. x Barbora
