Catching up with the Summer Sampler 2019 blocks. I have cut and pieced (nearly) all blocks. Each block is so different, with diverse sewing techniques. But all blocks are fun to make and with each block I have learned something new. All tips, hints and video tutorials are super helpful. At the moment, I have only put one block to the side: Oasis block with circles.

Your attention to detail is really paying off in these blocks. The illlusions would be spoiled if the lines didn’t meet just so.

Thank you! Not all blocks are perfectly pieced, but I am happy with the result. And most important : I have learnt a lot!

I shall improvise with the final quilt layout. The suggested layouts in the quilt along make a large quilt, I prefer something smaller. But I enjoy the process of piecing each block!
