drunkard’s path #2

This weekend I have finished a set of 2 pillows for my niece Andrea. Once more the Drunkard’s Path block, but this time in nice bright colors. Andrea stayed with us a week and so she could choose fabrics from my stash. I am happy with the result – this kind of Drunkard’s Path is absolutely to my taste. What a difference colors can make.

Once more I have done the quilting with the walking foot, straight lines with 1/2″ inch space.

One more week holidays, my Mum is coming tomorrow to stay with us for the next 2 weeks.

Thanks for stopping, have a nice week, Barbora

Thanks for stopping, the cushions are for my niece and her husband – a hobby fisherman so I tried to integrate something reminding him of his passion.

Hello Barbora… what colourful nice pieces!!!! I You have a very goog colour-feeling…. I struggle with colurs at the moment… and curves are quite coming at the moment, aren’t they? … saw it at wombatquilts last weeks and in some printed journals… Kind regards to where still summer is…

Hi Barbora! Adorable pillows! She chose perfect Fabrics! I should try this pattern for a pillow as I haven’t done much curves yet. Have a lovely time with your mom1 x Teje

I like the way you arranged the colors. I think using near colors makes for added interest. Someday I’m going to try pencil quilting. I always end up wanting to use two colors of thread to quilt and that keeps me from it. I’ll have to plan my colors ahead so I can do it.

Love these, really pretty fabric. You’ve certainly got the hang of those curves!
